Thursday Tapestry: Off the beaten path, Free courses from Harvard, “Why Not?” and A Chuckle

I took a quick trip to a country that features one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world. What's your guess? (Hint: It's often called the birthplace of win, and its cuisine features a fusion of European and Asian flavours)

March has been a whirlwind for me! Late night meetings, travel, teaching, and scraping by on four hours of sleep some nights—it's been a wild ride. Amidst the chaos, I've managed to carve out some time just for you, and I've got some seriously exciting stuff to share!

Dive into Harvard's Online Courses

Who doesn't love a good freebie, especially when it comes from Harvard? If you're as passionate (and curious) about learning as I am, then you're in for a treat. Harvard is offering a ton of online courses for absolutely nothing! Art & Design, Data Science, Health & Medicine... it's all here.

I'm featured in this book... Pre-Orders now available!

What kind of society do you envision for Singapore in the years to come? How can we ensure it will be a society where every person can live the life they want? This collection of 36 essays  will make you think, and perhaps ask, "Why Not?" My essay articulates a vision for the future of boards. Discover more here.

Gratitude and Perspective

I stumbled upon this article and it really struck a chord with me. It's a beautiful piece of writing and it will make you think. Just read it.

Three Days in Georgia

Tbilisi was filled with surprises, while the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Mtskheta and ancient rock-hewn town of Uplistsikhe took me all the way back to the 2nd millennium BC. It was a little chilly, but I was determined to make the most of my time there. See what I found at the enchanting Dry Bridge Market!  Truly weird, wacky, and wonderful.

A little humor

Finally... the classic battle between work and procrastination. We've all been there, haven't we?

That's a wrap for this month! Looking forward to our next rendezvous with even more insights, stories, and of course, a sprinkle of smiles. Until then, stay tuned and keep those chuckles ready!

If these snippets have added a bit of sparkle to your day, feel free to share this with someone who might appreciate it.
