BOARD DIRECTOR
With over a decade of experience as an Independent Director, I've had the privilege of serving on the Boards of various public, private, and not-for-profit organisations in Australia, Asia, and the United States. I currently serve as Board Chair of a Singapore Listed Company, and as Chair or member of various Nominating, Remuneration, and Audit Committees. I'm honoured to be the only Asia-based individual named to the Financial Times’ Agenda Directory of Top 100 Board Candidates With Pay-Setting Skills.

What inspires me to serve?

I thrive on the intellectual stimulation that comes from engaging with a diverse set of industries including telecommunications, media, professional services, agriculture, real estate, healthcare, education, the arts, and FinTech / HRTech. I've enjoyed connecting the dots across technology, strategy, human capital, and corporate governance to support each of these organisations on their transformation journeys.

I've also come to appreciate the nuances associated with different ownership and corporate structures. Some of these organisations have been publicly listed companies, others private equity-held, or with a majority family stake. I've served on the boards of Temasek / government-linked companies, not-for-profit organisations, start-ups, and social enterprises. In each instance, it is an opportunity to make an impact - on the organisations and their stakeholders.

I am currently Chairperson of the Singapore Institute of Directors, and as someone who has taken a somewhat non-traditional path to directorship, am committed to enhancing diversity - in all its forms - in the boardroom.
