Thursday Tapestry: Longevity, the Wisdom of Elders, and a Grin

Su-Yen Wong in Saudi Arabia
Saudi Arabia, my 81st country, was an eye-opening and inspiring journey!

February may be the shortest month, but it's a good time to talk about longevity. As always, I'll keep it short and sweet, and filled with insights!

A Quote I'm Meditating On...

"When you arise in the morning, think of what a previous privilege it is to be alive - to breathe, to think, to enjoy, to love," Marcus Aurelies.

Living Well

In 2017, for the very first time, the number of adults over 60 exceeded the number of children under 5. Living longer in the form of years, is great, But what one factor determines a long AND healthy life? I dug up Harvard's longest study on happiness and longevity which you can read here.

Loving Well

In the ancient Greek world, there were eight words for "love". To what extent are work and life relationships similar This is how I feel.

Leaving Well

Sadly, we're not on this planet for ever. So... What happens after we're gone?  Would your family and loved ones know who your advisors are? Would they be able to locate your assets (financial, digital, etc)? To help you get your act together, you'll want to check out The Croak Book.  It's free. You can thank me later.

The Wisdom of Elders

Those who master longevity build lives and legacies that endure. And when you hear their stories? It's impossible not to be inspired.

That's why I've curated this one-of-a-kind workshop on 28 March. Because there's so much we can learn from those who have reinvented themselves, and continue to thrive well into their 70s and 80s. These are leaders who refuse to fade into the sunset, and who continue to make waves, and prove that impact has no expiration date.

If you're looking ahead to the next 10, 20, or even 30 years, and want to glean precious insights and wisdom from these powerhouses, check out this link I'm offering an early bird rate so you can lock in your spot quickly!

Perception vs Reality?

Closing off with a wry chuckle as usual.
